Counter-Strike 2 received a small update from Valve that addresses audio, UI, and map issues across multiple Workshop maps. The hotfix targets minimap audio visuals, a crash when changing sound devices, viewmodel motion quirks, and several clipping fixes; the official update post has the full notes.
The patch repairs an issue where player sounds would not visualize correctly on the minimap and fixes a crash tied to switching sound devices. It also addresses cases where sounds behaved oddly as players moved through water and a viewmodel motion bug that appeared at certain frame rates. UI fixes include minor loadout layout tweaks for some resolutions and a change allowing trade-protected and rental items to be unfavorited for CT.
Maps saw a mix of small clipping fixes and Workshop updates. Ancient and Shoots received grenade and player clipping corrections, while Grail, Agency, and Dogtown were updated to their latest Community Workshop versions. The list below reproduces the changelog text exactly as published by Valve.
