Counter-Strike 2 opens three new themes for Workshop creators

Valve is accepting weapon finishes for Fairy Tales and stickers inspired by Cryptids and Pop Art through the Counter-Strike 2 Workshop Tool.

Valve has opened the next Call II Arms-ory submission round for Counter-Strike 2, giving Workshop creators three themes to work with. The new call covers one weapon collection, Fairy Tales, along with two sticker collections focused on Cryptids and Pop Art.

The announcement follows the release of weapon and sticker collections from the previous Call to Arms-ory round. Valve congratulated the artists whose work was selected and is now looking for the next batch of community-made designs through its Steam announcement.

Creators can submit their work by opening the Counter-Strike 2 Workshop Tool and choosing the matching Call to Arms option. The tool now lists separate entries for the Fairy Tales weapon collection and the Cryptids and Pop Art sticker collections.

Anyone hoping to have an item included in one of the collections must also agree to Counter-Strike 2’s Supplemental Terms. Valve did not list a closing date for submissions in the announcement.

Counter-Strike 2

Counter-Strike 2 is a free-to-play multiplayer tactical first-person shooter developed and published by Valve. Released in September 2023, it is the fifth main entry in the Counter-Strike series and serves as a direct replacement for Counter-Strike: Global Offensive on Steam. Two teams, Terrorists and Counter-Terrorists, compete in objective-based rounds across modes such as bomb defusal and hostage rescue. Built on the Source 2 engine, the game introduced volumetric smoke physics, revised weapon handling, and a new sub-tick server architecture. It inherited all cosmetic items from its predecessor and features both a map-specific Competitive mode and a numerically ranked Premier mode.
