Cities: Skylines Gets Mass Transit Patch for Free

Colossal Order Ltd and Paradox Interactive are going to develop a big patch that will come for free and should improve player’s experience. The new Mass Transit patch will come for free and Cities Skylines will get a couple of new mechanics and improvements.

Mass Transit Patch

Naming of Roads will be possible together with road adjustments and route info view with transport types. Players will receive visual aids for road building and new intersection settings: Yield Rules, Traffic Lights and priority road. Toggling between local and intercity train stations is available and there will be new public transport info view additions.

Cities: Skylines will also get an improved emergency vehicle logic while citizen modding will be enabled. While all of these changes will come for free, there will also be new chirps and new steam achievements.

This patch is scheduled to come today. Cities: Skylines should become a warmer place for its gamers knowing that these features will come to live. However, this update might crash some mods by making them incompatible. Knowing that this patch comes as a major update, that’s totally normal. As a reminder, make sure you turn off your mods when the Mass Transit patch applies, until they are updated and compatible with the current version. This is modder’s job as they’ll need to update their mods as soon as possible.

Do not forget to tell us your thoughts about this update in the comments down below!
