Blizzard gives Diablo 4 players a quick fix for a stuck Lord of Hatred quest
The workaround for "She Sleeps Within You" asks players to reload from character select or replay the quest while a permanent fix is still in the works.
Blizzard said on April 27, 2026 that some players running Diablo 4‘s Lord of Hatred expansion have hit a progress block in “She Sleeps Within You” because the expected interactable never appears. The notice, posted on the official forums at Blizzard’s Diablo 4 forums, says a permanent fix will arrive in an upcoming update.
For now, Blizzard’s workaround is straightforward. Leave the game, go back to character select, and load back in. If that does not clear the problem, replaying the quest should make the interactable show up as intended.
The bug affects players who cannot move past the quest step because the objective object fails to spawn. Until Blizzard patches it, the relog-and-retry route is the best way around the issue.
