Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced will receive a New Game Plus mode, although Ubisoft has not given the feature a release window.
Game director Richard Knight confirmed the work during a livestream interview with JorRaptor. He said New Game Plus is already being developed and ranks among the team’s first priorities.
Knight explained that Assassin’s Creed Shadows already has a version of the mode, which gives the team an existing foundation to build from. Still, he stopped short of promising a specific day or launch period because production work is ongoing.
The mode could also include additional rewards. Knight said he would like to add more incentives for another playthrough, but decisions about the scope and the time required are still being discussed.
The original Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag launched without New Game Plus. Assassin’s Creed Shadows later received the feature in an update after its release, giving Ubisoft a recent example to draw from as work continues on Resynced.
For now, players will have to wait for more details from Ubisoft. The studio has confirmed that New Game Plus is in progress, but it has not said when the mode will arrive or exactly what rewards it will contain.
