Artemis Returns in SMITE 2’s Open Beta 4 Update

SMITE 2‘s Open Beta 4 update is set to drop on Monday! This patch isn’t just another routine refresh; it marks the glorious return of Artemis from SMITE 1. She’s been reimagined and is ready to dominate the battleground once again. How’s that for nostalgia?A fresh lineup of Cross-Gen and Classic skins will also enter the store. Players can get their hands on Foxy Amaterasu, Baron Frostchild Ymir, La Roca Hercules, Summer Fun Medusa, Hellforged Thor, Lil Bites Sobek, and Nano-Mancer Baron Samedi. These skins can be snagged with Legacy Gems—so start saving up if you haven’t already! And for those who secured it in SMITE 1, the Boss Man Danzaburou skin makes a triumphant return as a Divine Legacy unlock.

If you’ve been neglecting Thor lately (and who hasn’t?), now’s your chance to reconsider. He’ll get a brand-new Aspect that allows you to tweak his gameplay for something special. I mean, why not shake things up a bit?

Looking ahead to March 3, Awilix will swoop in next with her dynamic combat style. Stay tuned; we’ll have more details rolling out next week regarding these significant additions alongside extensive balance changes and quality-of-life tweaks that round off this update nicely.

This isn’t just any old patch—it’s an evolution of what SMITE can offer its player base during this open beta phase. The team at ConsolePCGaming.com has reached out to developers for insights into how these changes could reshape competitive play and community strategies moving forward.

The anticipation surrounding these updates is palpable within the community. What do you think about Artemis’ return? Are any of those new skins catching your eye? As always, share your thoughts in the comments section below!
