Bohemia Interactive released Arma Reforger’s Rally DLC and free 1.9 update on Nov. 5, 2026, adding solo racing to the game alongside a major vehicle simulation overhaul, according to the Steam announcement.
A Sept. 7 preview of Rally introduced the six stages and three cars without a release date. They are now available as a single-player time trial experience.
Six stages across three islands
Rally sends drivers across Everon, Arland, and Kolguyev, with routes through wooded bends, an airfield, and volcanic slopes. Players can customize race conditions and chase ghost runs to improve their times. If a car ends up on its roof, AI spectators can help get it back on its wheels.
Three cars with distinct handling
The Šárka 105 RS packs a 130-horsepower engine, a five-speed gearbox, and a wider body kit. The lightweight Sputnik 600 RS uses a two-stroke engine, while the Dana 2001 RS offers a more balanced option between the other two cars. Each has its own racing liveries and handling characteristics.
Players who own the DLC can drive its cars. Those without it can still ride as passengers, following the DLC vehicle access approach used in Arma 3.
Update 1.9 reworks vehicle handling
The free update changes engines, clutches, differentials, wheels, steering, tires, and suspension. Manual driving calls for more attention to the clutch, while vehicles with multiple driven axles distribute torque better over uneven ground. Dust, mud, skid marks, and tire smoke add more feedback to the driving.
Racing wheels, pedals, and gear shifters are supported, including force feedback. Mouse steering and more consistent steering speeds across input devices also give keyboard and controller users new ways to handle vehicles.
Field changes beyond driving
Update 1.9 also lets players clear bushes and low foliage with a shovel, while base building and larger compositions remove obstructing vegetation. Compatible magazines can be repacked to combine leftover ammunition. The LAV-25 gains a night vision optic, smoke launchers, and a rate-of-fire selector, with higher supply costs and rank requirements to match. Canteens replenish hydration to support stamina and steadier aim.
Bohemia Interactive’s full 1.9 changelog covers the rest of the update’s fixes and improvements.
