Arc Raiders backs off the durability nerf and gives a handful of guns more life
Patch 1.29.0 raises durability on eight weapons, adds the Rascal grenade launcher, and folds in a few quality-of-life fixes.

Arc Raiders has already started undoing one of its harsher weapon changes. In patch 1.29.0, Embark said the lower durability on some guns was “too much,” and it bumped several weapons back up by 18% to 54% at tier 1.
The guns getting more staying power are the Ferro, Anvil, Canto, Osprey, Renegade, Torrente, Bettina, and Jupiter. The biggest jump goes to the Renegade, which now lasts 269 shots instead of 175 at tier 1.
Embark called those weapons the “worst offenders” under the old durability tuning, but it also said it will keep an eye on any trouble spots that show up in the weeks ahead.
The patch also adds the Rascal, a compact grenade launcher built as a lighter anti-ARC option. Embark describes it as a side arm for players who want more firepower without carrying a Hullcracker, though it reloads more slowly and has a less predictable aim.
There are a few quality-of-life touches in the same update. Players can now look at their teammates’ information after a failed match, and the Nomadic Envoy trader also joins Speranza.
Embark has moved Arc Raiders to a twice-yearly major update cadence, but this patch is a reminder that balancing work is still coming in between those bigger drops. If you’ve been running these guns yourself, tell us what you think in the comments, and follow us on X, Bluesky, YouTube, Instagram.
