Apex Legends is investigating a crash affecting players with AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT graphics cards. The issue is still being examined, and no permanent fix was announced in the August 25 update notice.
For now, affected players have been advised to return to graphics driver version 26.7.1. The team presented that rollback as the immediate workaround while it continues looking into the cause of the crash in the latest Steam update notice.
The notice only addresses the AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT crash. It does not include balance changes, Legend adjustments, new content, or other gameplay updates, so players using different graphics hardware have no additional changes to apply from this announcement.
