Apex Legends received an August 11 update addressing five gameplay and audio issues, including incorrect Mythic CAR reload animations and a Bloodhound respawn bug. The team detailed the changes in the Steam update notice.
The fixes cover weapon behavior, the World’s Edge minimap, Lifeline’s Tactical audio, and Bloodhound’s Ultimate charge after respawning. It follows the August 4 crash fixes, which addressed problems involving Lifeline’s Ultimate, Hardlight Mesh, Mythic weapons, and select Reactive weapon skins.

This update fixes visual problems with Mythic CAR reloads, restores the intended Hemlok Breach AR recoil, corrects player positioning on the World’s Edge minimap, and resolves two Legend-related issues affecting Lifeline and Bloodhound.
- Mythic CAR reload animations will now display correctly
- Hemlok Breach AR will now recoil as intended
- The World’s Edge minimap now accurately reflects players location
- Lifeline’s Tactical audio now plays correctly when other HP regeneration is active
- Bloodhound will no longer respawn with a fully charged Ultimate
