Albion Online is bringing back its referral rewards, giving players until August 31 to earn the Ol’ Betsy mount skin and several bonus items. The details were shared in the game’s official Steam announcement.
Ol’ Betsy transforms the standard Transport Ox into a cheerful cow-themed mount, complete with a swinging cowbell. One successful referral is enough to claim the skin, so players do not need to recruit a whole herd of friends to earn it.
The referral rewards grow as more friends qualify:
- Refer one friend: Ol’ Betsy mount skin
- Refer three friends: A Tier 7 Pile of Tomes worth 100,000 Fame
- Refer five friends: A Tier 8 Pile of Tomes worth 200,000 Fame
- First-ever referral bonus: A Tier 8 Pile of Tomes worth 200,000 Fame
- Every friend referred: 500 Gold
How to qualify for the rewards
Players can find their referral link on the Albion Online website after signing in with their game account. From there, the process has three requirements:
- Share the referral link with a friend.
- Have that friend sign up for Albion Online.
- Have the friend purchase at least 30 days of Premium through the Albion Online Web Shop or the in-game store.
Premium purchased with in-game currencies, including Gold or Silver, does not count toward the referral reward. The season ends on August 31 at 23꞉59꞉59, giving players until the final seconds of the promotion to complete their referrals.
