Pokémon GO is marking its 10th anniversary with a special Mewtwo tied to the celebration. The announcement is live on the game’s official news page, giving Trainers a Legendary Pokémon centerpiece for the milestone.
Every Trainer can celebrate the anniversary with this special Mewtwo. The announcement gives no event date or claiming method, though it confirms that the Times Square background will return in the future. Trainers who caught a Mewtwo at the in-person Times Square event on July 9 will receive one with different stats and rewards.
