NBA 2K24 has received a hotfix update to resolve a frustrating issue affecting MyCAREER Badge progression on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S consoles. This problem caused players’ Badge progression to drop to the Bronze level after games under certain conditions.
According to official announcements, the hotfix should stop Badge progression from being reset. Players can now expect their Badges to remain at their earned level, making gameplay much more straightforward. Although the reset problem has been fixed, some visual issues persist. The Badges menu and the “Recent Trend” graph may still show reset progress, but the developers assure gamers that these are purely graphical glitches and can be ignored.
Visual Concepts is also working on an additional patch to fix the visual bugs completely. While no specific date has been announced for this next update, players can expect to see it soon. The developers thanked the community for their patience as they worked to make the game flawless.
