Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 Reveals Exciting Campaign Gameplay and Multiplayer Beta Dates

During the Gamescom Opening Night Live, Sledgehammer Games revealed a thrilling 9-minute campaign gameplay video for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. The footage, showcasing the game’s first level, Operation 627, provides an in-depth look at the intense action and innovative features fans can expect.

As a direct sequel to the record-smashing Modern Warfare 2, the game’s campaign continues the story of Captain Price and Task Force 141. Facing off against the menacing ultranationalist Vladimir Makarov, players will engage in battles across the globe. Activision promises thrilling Open Combat Missions, offering multiple approaches, from stealth tactics to explosive assaults.

Fans of Modern Warfare 2 will recognize all 16 launch maps, now modernized with enhanced graphics and improved authenticity. The multiplayer mode will be previewed on October 5 at Activision’s returning Call of Duty Next event, and the much-anticipated beta will kick off on October 6.

Sledgehammer Games, leading the sequel’s development, collaborates with Infinity Ward, while Treyarch takes charge of the game’s Zombies mode. The joint effort ensures an immersive experience, seamlessly picking up from where Modern Warfare 2 left off.
