Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 Preorders Will Include an M4 Blueprint With 2 Platform-Specific Looks

The 5-attachment weapon build will be identical across platforms, but Xbox Series X|S consoles will display an OG Green Xbox 25th Anniversary treatment.

Digital preorders for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 will include the “Inner Circuit” M4 Weapon Blueprint at launch. The reward is available with any digital edition, and Activision detailed its attachments and platform-specific visuals in the Inner Circuit M4 announcement.

Xbox Series X|S consoles will display the Blueprint with an OG Green finish inspired by translucent Xbox hardware. The design serves as a tribute to 25 years of Xbox, with the transparent green exterior exposing the weapon’s internal systems as part of its look.

Players who redeem the bonus on PlayStation 5, Steam, Battle.net, Xbox on PC, or Nintendo Switch 2 will see the same M4 build with a mil-spec visual treatment. The weapon itself does not change between versions. The attachments, handling, and gameplay characteristics remain identical.

The visual treatment follows the platform used for redemption and cannot be selected manually. A PC player matched against someone on an Xbox Series X|S console will see the mil-spec version on PC, while the Xbox console player sees the OG Green version.

The Inner Circuit M4 build favors close and mid-range fights

The Blueprint equips 5 attachments that improve mobility, handling, accuracy, and recoil control. Compared with the base M4, the setup is better suited to close and mid-range engagements, although it gives up some strength at longer distances.

  • 11.5″ Shortline Barrel: Improves movement and handling while reducing recoil control and range.
  • FTAC Dominion Muzzle: Helps control both vertical and horizontal recoil.
  • FSS Fireline Grip: Steadies the weapon during fire but slows aim-down-sight response.
  • SZ Prima-4 Dot Optic: Adds a clear dot sight for target tracking.
  • ZLR ASP50 Stock: Reduces weight and improves speed and mobility.

That combination makes the Inner Circuit a compact M4 option for players who want to stay mobile and pressure targets at shorter distances. It can also work alongside a sniper loadout by giving the class a more flexible weapon for fights that move inside long-range sightlines.

Modern Warfare 4 launches in October

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 will launch globally on October 23, 2026, for Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, PC through Battle.net, Xbox on PC, Steam, and Nintendo Switch 2. Infinity Ward leads development, with Beenox working on the PC version and Digital Legends partnering on the native Switch 2 release.

The platform used for the preorder is required to redeem the Blueprint, and the bonus must be redeemed by October 23, 2027.
