Microsoft Brazil has recently unveiled its current sales figures for the Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One during an ID@Xbox presentation at the BIG Festival in Brazil. The data, revealed via a slide during the presentation, shows that sales of Xbox Series X/S have exceeded 21 million units, while Xbox One has surpassed a total of 58 million units.
The ID@Xbox presentation, which aimed to showcase indie games on Xbox, unexpectedly provided insight into the sales figures of Microsoft’s flagship consoles. Despite Microsoft discontinuing its practice of regularly providing sales updates years ago, these new figures provide an invaluable snapshot of the company’s recent performance in the console market.
As per the disclosed data, the Xbox Series X/S consoles have seen an impressive increase in sales since earlier in the year. Prior estimates placed sales figures around the 18.5 million mark, indicating an increase of approximately 2.5 million units in just a few months.
Recent developments at Microsoft indicate an ambitious growth strategy, with price increases announced for the Xbox Game Pass and Xbox Series X in several markets, excluding the US, Japan, Chile, Brazil, and Columbia. However, the Xbox Series S and PC Game Pass prices remain unchanged.
Xbox Series X|S console sales are at 21M+ according to Microsoft at BIG Festival in Brazil.
