In an extraordinary display of skill, coordination, and perseverance, Team Liquid has ascended to a place in World of Warcraft history, earning the coveted title of Race to World First in the Aberrus, the Shadowed Crucible raid. They have managed to defeat Scalecommander Sarkareth, the final boss of the newly released raid, becoming the first guild in the world to do so.
This achievement came after countless hours of strategizing, progressing, and battling through the dark confines of Aberrus, the secret laboratory of the once mighty Neltharion. Below you can find the killing blow and of course, the reaction of Maximum, the GM of Team Liquid.
To confirm its legitimacy, World of Warcraft’s official Twitter profile has also congratulated Team Liquid’s efforts:

Despite the immense challenges and the high-pressure environment, Team Liquid rose above, displaying their world-class talent and indomitable team spirit. Their journey to the top was filled with intense moments, nail-biting near misses, and triumphant success.
We congratulate Team Liquid on their remarkable achievement. This victory will undoubtedly leave a lasting mark, as they even out the result to 1-1 with Echo for this expansion. As the dust settles after their triumphant battle, we eagerly look forward to their future endeavors.
Liquid, as a NA guild gets a 16 hour headstart in this raid. Its pretty silly to say they win the race if they have such a large advantage. Most of the time LIquid loses due to the raid taking longer and being more difficult, thus letting the superior guilds pull out ahead.
