Sony surprises PlayStation 5 users with a new system software update, version 23.01-07.01.01, which was released on March 29. This unannounced update, unlike most others, does not require a console restart and has probably finished on your console too.
The update is relatively small in size, clocking in at just 834MB. While the official patch notes were not immediately available, they have since been released, revealing that the update resolves an issue in the Game Library. The issue caused content to be displayed incorrectly under specific conditions but has now been addressed with this update.
