Capcom has announced that the Chainsaw Demo for the Resident Evil 4 remake is now available to download on multiple platforms, including PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows PC, and Xbox Series X. Unlike recent Resident Evil game demos, the Chainsaw Demo won’t have a time limit, allowing players to take their time to fully explore the demo and get a feel for the updated gameplay mechanics and graphics.
Set during the opening portion of the game, the demo sees Leon S. Kennedy face an angry mob of Plagas-infested villagers, including a sack-wearing, chainsaw-wielding enemy who’s keen on sawing Leon in half. The Chainsaw Demo is described as a “specially tuned version of the game’s opening sequence” and should be an excellent place for players to hone their knife-parrying skills before the full game launches on March 23.
Fans of the Resident Evil series will be eager to get their hands on the Chainsaw Demo and experience the updated version of this classic game. It’s available to download now from the PlayStation Store, Steam, and Xbox Games Store. Check your preferred digital storefront for more information on downloading and playing the demo.
