DMZ, the long-awaited extraction-based Escape From Tarkov-like game mode coming to Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2, is about to hit the fans with a surprise. Infinity Ward is planning to host a new event solely focused on DMZ and potentially Warzone 2.0, where content creators will battle their way to extraction and present the fans with this crude game mode in action.
The Twitter account of ModernWarzone, the man who’s known for his CoD-related content creation, has announced that there will be an in-person event this week to reveal his new game Warzone 2 and DMZ.
BREAKING: Infinity Ward is hosting another in person event this week where a select group of content creators will be streaming a first look at DMZ and another early look at Warzone 2.

As per the announcement by ModernWarzone, some content creators have already expressed their confirmation for such activity. Nat has revealed that she’s going to LA to stream DMZ and Warzone 2.0 before the official launch.

DMZ, known as Deployment Zone, will take place on Warzone 2’s map Al Mazrah. In an open-world scenario and crumbling environment, this zone will host the toughest of competitors willing to lose it all.
