Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, inevitably one of the most anticipated first-person shooters throughout 2022, is ready to unleash its beauty in the gaming industry. In a recent Artwork Reveal video, Infinity Ward not only teases a June reveal but also shows off the official release date. According to it, the game is supposed to release on October 28.
Modern Warfare 2 is a sequel to 2019’s Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. This will be an attempt to reboot Infinity Ward’s most successful title in the rows of Activision Blizzard, which undoubtedly reached incredible milestones. Something Activision Blizzard to cheer on and hope for a repeat.
Surprisingly enough, we might see the first look of Modern Warfare 2 on June 8, which is just before the start of the Summer Game Fest.
In April, Infinity Ward revealed the game’s logo for the first time, exciting anyone across the globe for their upcoming first-person shooter title. No one wants a passage through time or jump in the future, as was proven with recent Call of Duty titles compared to 2019’s Modern Warfare.
The release of Modern Warfare 2 is expected to positively impact the already ongoing Battle Royale counterpart, which, after the transition in the Cold War era, suffered a loss in player base. The reason for that is quite evident and familiar, and the release of Modern Warfare 2 will hopefully bring Call of Duty back on its feet.
