The developers behind Nioh 2 are proud to introduce the fans to a brand new Nioh 2 update. Titled 1.27.1, this update mends the game by introducing some crash and bug fixes for all platforms. Alongside that, the PS5 update brings improvements for 120 FPS.
Team Ninja’s critically acclaimed action RPG should now feel a lot smoother in both performance and gameplay. For a game that made its way both on the PC and PS5 in the latter, the dedication and implementation should not be forgotten, as it’s not the first update that aims that focuses on such improvements.
Team Ninja announced on Twitter, the 1.27.1 update brings various bug fixes for both Steam and PS5 versions. The full patch notes can be found below:

- Fixed an issue that caused the game to crash when opening the Character Directory with DLSS enabled.
- Fixed an issue that could cause a crash when raising to level 750 when using a mouse.
- Fixed an issue that caused the game to crash in certain environments.
- Fixed an issue that could stop text from appearing on the screen in certain environments.
- Fixed an issue that caused the game to crash when using a Gaki Soul Core Yokai Ability in “The Alluring Ancient” sub-mission.
- Other minor bug fixes.

Bug Fixes
- Fixed an issue in the 120FPS Game Mode where Burst Counters did not work correctly against certain enemies’ Burst Attacks.
- Fixed an issue in the 120FPS game mode where certain enemies would behave differently than expected.
