For those who haven’t been up to date with Resident Evil Village, it’s set a few years after RE7: Biohazard, making it the 10th primary installment to the series. Ethan and his wife Mia have been living peacefully in a new location, free from their past nightmares. Just as they are building their new life together, tragedy befalls them once again.
Chris Redfield, the famous character from the Resident Evil series, which made a brief appearance in Resident Evil 7 Biohazard, is reacquainted with the couple and disrupts their life, leaving Ethan devastated and thrown into an entirely new nightmare. Ethan must uncover the horrors of that once peaceful village and get rid of them in a horrifying first-person experience as he’ll be hunted during his journey.
There’s no official release date for the game, but it’s estimated to launch sometime this year for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S.
