WoW Forever Stratholme Main Gate and Service Entrance Locations
Stratholme has a Main Gate and a separate Service Gate in northern Eastern Plaguelands. The correct entrance depends on the route your group wants, so agree on live side or undead side before everyone rides to different gates.
Location at a Glance
- Zone: Eastern Plaguelands
- Level guidance: 58-60
- Version: World of Warcraft: Forever
How to Reach the Entrance
- For the Main Gate approach, travel through Plaguewood towards approximately 27, 12 on the Eastern Plaguelands map.
- For the Service Gate approach, head farther east towards approximately 43, 19, also called the Eastwall entrance.
- Confirm which route your group is taking and whether someone can open the locked Service Gate before entering.
Alliance and Horde Travel
Both factions can travel across Eastern Plaguelands using their available flight paths. Light's Hope Chapel is a useful staging location, but the last stretch still takes you through dangerous territory. Wait at the agreed gate rather than somewhere vaguely north of the flight point.
Before You Go
Main Gate and Service Gate are not interchangeable meeting instructions. The Key to the City is associated with the Service Gate in the Classic layout. A guide for the later retail-separated instances can also describe a different route from the original dungeon.
Tell the group whether you want the Scarlet route, an undead-side run or a wider quest clear. The two numbered map markers identify the exterior gate approaches; they do not imply a safe straight-line route between them through the city.
