Call of Duty: Mobile Season 10 Will Bring Verdansk and Major Battle Royale Changes

The 7th Anniversary season launches Nov. 11 at 4 p.m. PT, with Verdansk also coming to DMZ: Recon alongside a new boss and contract.

Call of Duty: Mobile’s Season 10 will bring Verdansk to Battle Royale alongside changes to movement, combat tools, and redeployments when the 7th Anniversary season begins Nov. 11 at 4 p.m. PT. Verdansk will also arrive in DMZ: Recon with a new boss and contract, according to Activision’s Season 10 announcement.

Season 10 takes a different route from Season 9’s community-voted vampire-versus-werewolf theme, putting its biggest new systems in Battle Royale.

Verdansk changes the Battle Royale rhythm

The map will feature more than 15 major points of interest, including Superstore, Storage Town, Airport, Downtown, Prison, and Military Base. Players eliminated for the first time in a match will get a shot at returning through the Gulag. Win the fight and redeploy. Lose, and you’re out unless a teammate buys your redeployment at a Buy Station.

Season 10 also updates movement and airborne controls, adds third-person animations for Verdansk and DMZ, and replaces wingsuits with parachutes on Verdansk. Players will be able to shoulder-bash doors open by running through them and drag downed teammates while reviving. The update also brings new UI and lobby scenes, along with in-match contracts that offer rewards.

Battle Royale Scorestreaks will become Field Assets, which can be equipped in Loadouts or purchased at Buy Stations. They will be less common in matches, and their costs are changing. New options include the Death Machine and EMP Systems. Activating Field Assets such as the Strafing Run and Stealth Chopper will also use a new scope mechanism.

Wildcards are being renamed Perks in Battle Royale, where players can find them in matches or equip them to Loadouts for access through Loadout Drops and Buy Stations. Their effects range from improved hip-fire accuracy with Wild Hip Fire to enemy marking with Tracking Ammo. Sniper Expert suppresses breathing sway and lets semi-automatic sniper rifles fire continuously.

Verdansk brings a new DMZ boss and story mission

DMZ: Recon will add the Chemist, a boss based in the radiation zone with elite bodyguards, gas grenades, a grenade launcher, and a dangerous melee attack. Defeating him can earn a weapon blueprint, a Chemist Operator Skin, and other high-tier loot.

The new Prison Highlight Contract sends squads in without their gear. Players must search the prison for items and find the warden’s key to escape. In the limited-time Create Your Truth playlist, infinite respawns give players room to collect map codes, decode intel, find NPCs, and follow HUD directions to the Stadium. Completing the mission rewards a Verdansk Inbound Calling Card, an Epic Frame, and an Avatar.

Anniversary events add story rewards and Ford vehicles

Operation: Verdansk Convergence asks players to join Makarov, Task Force 141, or the Observers and complete objectives across multiple acts. Its rewards include the Ghost Desert Ghost Operator Skin, a DLQ33 Verdansk Event Sniper Rifle Blueprint, and the Legendary AK47 Pharoah’s Decree. After finishing one faction’s tasks, players can join another and work toward its rewards too.

Mail Call adds a dice-based event board with developer notes and anniversary rewards, including an Epic Kilo 141 Assault Rifle Blueprint. A task-based Ford Racing event will begin a week after the season launches. Logging in, playing matches, and getting kills can earn more than 20 rewards, including the Urban Tracker Pit Crew Operator Skin, Rallycar Sports Mode Vehicle Skin, and DRH Command Console Weapon Blueprint.

Verdansk will also feature Ford Mustang GTD and F-150 Raptor vehicles through contracts, and players can buy them at Buy Stations. Two Ford Racing Lucky Draws will offer vehicle skins and other themed items.

Battle Pass and Store bring new weapons and Mythics

The free Battle Pass tiers add the Signal 50 sniper rifle, described as a fast-firing weapon suited to Verdansk’s long sightlines. Premium tiers bring black-and-gold Operator Skins and Weapon Blueprints. The Ground Forces subscription includes monthly rewards, a 10% Player and Weapon XP boost, discount coupons, and limited discounts on 10x crate pulls.

Two Mythic Store draws are also planned. Means to an End features the Mythic Alias Shattered Effigy Operator Skin and a Legendary ICR-1 Effigy Blueprint. Botanist introduces the Mythic Signal 50 Exobotanica Blueprint, alongside the Tempest Exo Botanist Operator Skin and RAM-7 Chlorophyll Bloom Blueprint. The Final Snow Battle Pass from 2021 will return in the Vault.
