Crimson Desert 2.04.06 Fixes Pailune Crashes and Pioneering Bugs
The patch is rolling out across platforms, with Steam for PC and Mac already marked available.

Crimson Desert Version 2.04.06 addresses crashes, frame-rate drops, and several problems with pioneering missions. Pearl Abyss says the patch is rolling out across all platforms, with Steam for PC and Mac marked available now in its Steam patch notice.
Among the fixes, players using AMD driver version 26.10.1 should no longer encounter a crash in Pailune when Cinematic is enabled. The update also fixes a problem that could block an earlier mission after sending out two or more pioneering missions, plus an issue that stopped pioneering from completing when a ship was near an anchorage. Pearl Abyss says it will continue working on frame-rate drops in certain situations and content.
The patch also makes destroyed Lumen Swords restorable. One entry says rewards are not granted for defeating the Phanton Ship and the Drunken Catfish, but does not say that this problem was fixed. Version 2.04.06 follows Version 2.04.05, which addressed a Ravok of the Savage Fangs crash and several quest progression problems.
