Queen’s Domain is available today, October 30, on Xbox Series X|S, sending players alone onto Neasied, an island full of monsters and hidden paths. Xbox Wire’s launch tips point to two useful habits: pay attention to enemy behavior, and treat the Holy Sword as a way through the terrain as well as a weapon.
Use the Holy Sword to reach new paths
Practice dashing with the Holy Sword instead of saving it for fights. Its dash can carry you across gaps and toward distant platforms, so try it when a route looks just out of reach.
Read enemies before choosing a weapon
Wild swings leave you open to attacks, even from weaker foes. Watch an enemy’s attack patterns, check the bestiary for weaknesses, and choose a weapon that suits the encounter. Weapon practice also pays off over time, making your chosen weapon more powerful.
If a difficult stretch stops your progress, retrace your steps and spend more time with your preferred weapon. Save and return with a better chance against the enemies ahead.
Watch your surroundings and explore
Enemies can approach from different directions, including above you. Equip a throwable weapon before setting out, keep an eye on the space around you, and be cautious in open areas where threats are harder to avoid.
Side paths can lead to hidden treasures and secrets, so do not assume the main route is the only one worth taking. If you get stuck, look for hints left by the dead.
