Aloft’s Full 1.0 Release and a Free Conan Exiles Enhanced Upgrade Are Coming to PS5 in Early 2027

Aloft's PS5 edition includes its PC Early Access updates, while Conan Exiles Enhanced brings free console upgrades, cross-play, and one-way save transfers.

Aloft and Conan Exiles Enhanced are both coming to PS5 in early 2027, bringing two very different survival sandboxes to the console. PlayStation’s announcement confirms that Aloft will arrive as its complete 1.0 release, while Conan Exiles owners will get the Enhanced version at no extra cost. Conan Exiles Enhanced will also come to Xbox Series X|S.

Aloft brings its complete 1.0 experience to PS5

The PS5 version of Aloft will include all updates from the game’s PC Early Access period alongside its 1.0 experience. Five major updates have added wildlife, puzzles, combat improvements, glider customization, and more areas to explore.

Players can turn floating islands into skyships, build a home in the clouds, and explore alone or with friends. The adventure also involves caring for animals, curing fungal corruption, and weathering hurricanes while restoring ecosystems and uncovering lost knowledge.

Conan Exiles Enhanced adds Xbox and cross-play

Existing Conan Exiles owners on PS4 or Xbox One will receive Enhanced on PS5 or Xbox Series X|S at no extra cost. Buying either console version also grants access to both Enhanced and Legacy. Funcom’s console announcement places the releases in early 2027 and says full cross-play is planned for soon after launch. Enhanced first arrived on Steam as a free update in May 2026.

The Enhanced edition updates environments, characters, lighting, and effects, alongside a redesigned UI, performance changes, and quality-of-life updates. Isle of Siptah remains a separate purchase, but its map will be joined with the Exiled Lands so players can travel between them without switching servers.

Server and save transfers have lasting effects

Official Exiled Lands servers will move from Legacy to Enhanced, carrying characters, followers, and bases with them. Isle of Siptah servers will not make the same transition. The island’s coordinates are changing as it joins the Exiled Lands, so bases built there cannot be preserved in the upgrade.

Single-player saves can move from Legacy to Enhanced, but not back again. Once a save has been opened in Enhanced, it can no longer be loaded in Legacy. Players who cannot back up their console save files will not be able to reverse the move, and Funcom plans to share more guidance for players and private server hosts closer to launch.

Legacy will remain available on consoles for single-player and private servers, but it will have no official servers or Bazaar. It will receive only updates needed to address critical bugs, with no major content updates. Crom Coins, Bazaar items, DLC, and Twitch Drops will carry over to Enhanced. Crom Coins will no longer work in Legacy after its Bazaar closes, and purchases made in Enhanced will not apply to Legacy.

Giant-Kings content is planned for console launch

Legacy of the Giant-Kings content and new Bazaar items released for Enhanced on Steam are planned to be available on consoles at launch. Funcom also plans to continue adding content across platforms throughout 2027 and beyond. Part Three of the story arc is scheduled for November 10, 2026, with Akhamet taking a larger role. The first chapter launched in July, sending players beneath the Unnamed City and into the Cyclopean Halls.
