Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 Hotfix 15.2 Notes Detail Thunder Hammer and Crucible Changes
The Power Maul's Ground Slam is assigned a 3-charge threshold, while Crucible fixes cover Guardian Relic behavior and Quick Match routing.

Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 Hotfix 15.2 details another PvE balance pass for the One-Handed Thunder Hammer, setting charge gain time to 1.25 seconds and increasing damage on several moves. The Hotfix 15.2 notes on Steam also revise the Heroic Power Maul’s charge thresholds and address Crucible, Siege, and general gameplay bugs.
Following Hotfix 15.1’s 10% base-damage increase, the hammer gets further attack and perk changes. Energy Loop can follow Charged Impact and deals 100% more damage, while Underhand Swing gains 30% damage and Charged Impact gains 15%.
The Heroic Power Maul’s Charged Impact will be available with 1 or 2 charges, while Ground Slam will require 3. Ground Slam also forces stagger, deals 30% more damage, and has a 100% larger attack radius. Its Heroic perk no longer increases damage based on charge count. The Power Maul’s text descriptions will not reflect the changes until a future patch.
Crucible fixes cover the Guardian Relic being disabled for the whole team when one player activates Curse of the Warp, mission and difficulty selection through the Hub Terminal, and PvE Quick Match players being sent into Crucible. General fixes address Tactical’s secondary-slot Bolt Rifle damage with Tactical Reserve and a Plasma Pistol retaining Versatility without a Primary Weapon. Other fixes cover Loyalist Marine spawns in Chaos Siege, Techmarine’s Weighty Attack challenge, a Siege transition softlock, crashes, stability, UI, and localization.
