Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4’s Valor Pack Gets a 3-Part Behind-the-Scenes Series
The first two episodes follow Medal of Honor recipient Kyle Carpenter from his Marine service through years of recovery, with a third episode still to come.
The Call of Duty Endowment’s three-part Forged in Valor series looks at the story behind the C.O.D.E. Valor Pack for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4. The first two episodes are available, and Call of Duty’s October 19 announcement says a third is coming soon.
Created alongside U.S. Marine Corps veteran Kyle Carpenter, the pack draws on his service, resilience, and recovery. Carpenter is the youngest living Medal of Honor recipient.
Episode 1, “The Man Behind the Medal,” follows Carpenter’s path to service and the moment of courage that defined his military experience.
Episode 2, “Built to Endure,” focuses on the long recovery that followed Carpenter shielding a fellow Marine from a grenade blast. Episode 3 is titled “Calm. Forward. Relentless.”
Activision will donate 100% of the pack’s net proceeds to the Call of Duty Endowment. The organization helps veterans in the U.S. and U.K. find meaningful employment after military service.
