HUNGER’s Closed Beta Will Begin October 19 With Limited Access

Players from earlier tests will keep access, while others can request entry through HUNGER's Steam page.

HUNGER’s next closed beta will begin October 19, giving GOOD FUN CORPORATION a larger test of the game’s servers before broader access. The test is scheduled to end October 26 at 9 a.m. GMT, though that timing could change.

The beta begins at 2 a.m. PDT in Los Angeles, 5 a.m. EDT in New York, 10 a.m. BST in London, 11 a.m. CEST in Berlin, 1 p.m. GST in Dubai, 5 p.m. CST in Beijing, 6 p.m. JST in Tokyo, and 8 p.m. AEDT in Sydney.

Players selected for the previous test will retain access. Others can request a spot through the game’s Steam page, and GOOD FUN CORPORATION will also bring in content creators during the beta.

The studio describes this as an expanded version of its earlier tests. It plans to use the larger group to check whether its servers can handle traffic from around the world. An unrestricted open beta for everyone has been delayed until the team makes further adjustments.

HUNGER sends players into plague-ravaged Napoleonic Europe, where a mysterious bacterium and monstrous enemies threaten each expedition. Its mix of horror, RPG progression, and melee and ranged combat gives the extraction shooter a distinct setting and combat approach to test during the beta.
