Hidden Route sends you beneath Factory to find its transit to The Lab. Therapist gives this event quest, and completing it opens A Simple Task in a Difficult Place.
Requirements and Objective
Before accepting the task, unlock Mechanic through the Tour story chapter and learn about The Lab during that chapter.
- Locate the transit to The Lab on Factory.
Bring an ordinary TerraGroup Labs access keycard if you intend to use the transit. A colored Labs keycard is not the access card for this passage.
How to Complete Hidden Route
- Accept the quest from Therapist, then enter Factory. Your destination is the flooded underground area, not one of Factory’s regular extraction points.
- Find the metal door leading into the sewer tunnel. Go through it and follow the passage away from the flooded basement.
- Continue to the grate at the end of the tunnel. This is the Factory-to-Lab transit. Check that the quest objective registers before leaving the area.
- Complete the task with Therapist. The next quest, A Simple Task in a Difficult Place, asks you to survive and extract from The Lab. That is a separate objective, not another step listed under Hidden Route.
Transits become available one minute after the raid starts. If you reach the passage early and want to take it, wait for that opening time and keep your access keycard with you.
