Escape From Tarkov “Information Source” Quest Guide
Complete seven survive-and-extract objectives using the named V-Ex exits across seven maps.
Information Source is a seven-extraction checklist. To complete it, survive and extract from each of seven maps through the specific V-Ex exit named for that location.
Requirements and objectives
Lightkeeper gives the quest. Complete To the Light – Getting Acquainted before taking on Information Source.
| Map | Required extraction | Where to go |
|---|---|---|
| Woods | Bridge V-Ex | Follow the road north from the northeastern village to the bridge at the river boundary. |
| Customs | Dorms V-Ex | Use the gated road behind the 3-story dorms. |
| Interchange | Power Station V-Ex | Go to the Power Station outside the mall, northeast of IDEA, and find the vehicle beside the station. |
| Streets of Tarkov | Primorsky Ave Taxi V-Ex | Follow Primorsky Avenue to its southern end beside the cinema block. |
| Ground Zero | Police Cordon V-Ex | Find the cordoned road beside the TerraGroup building, on the east side of the central street. |
| Lighthouse | Road to Military Base V-Ex | Follow the road east from the northern end of the Water Treatment Plant to the vehicle near the map boundary. |
| Shoreline | Road to North V-Ex | Take the northern boundary road beyond the eastern ranch area to the vehicle. |
Needed equipment
Bring Roubles for the drivers. The standard vehicle fee is 5,000 Roubles per player, but your Scav karma changes the amount, so check the fee shown at the vehicle. These are PMC extractions.
How to complete the quest
- Enter each map as a PMC, check your extraction list and head to the named vehicle. Several of these vehicles are not guaranteed to be present, and a car can also have left with another player.
- Survive and extract for the objective to count, then repeat for the remaining six maps.
All 7 map and exit combinations are required. Using a different exit will not complete that map’s objective. Stay with the vehicle for its departure countdown, then check your quest progress after the raid.
Rewards
- +0.01 Lightkeeper reputation
- 1 Advanced Electronic Materials textbook
- 1 Lighthouse island stash key
Information Source is not required for the Kappa secure container.
