Escape From Tarkov “To the Light – Getting Acquainted” Quest Guide
Find the quest-only V3 Flash drive on Lighthouse, reflash the transmitter in your hideout, then reach the Lighthouse building.
Getting Acquainted hinges on keeping a quest-only item through extraction. The V3 Flash drive can only be found while the quest is active, must retain its Found in Raid status for handover, and is lost if you fail to extract with it. After reflashing the transmitter in your hideout, use it to access the Lighthouse building.
Requirements and objectives
Its previous quest is To the Light – The Other Side.
- Obtain the V3 Flash drive on Lighthouse.
- Reflash the Digital secure DSP radio transmitter using the V3 Flash drive.
- Hand over the V3 Flash drive.
- Visit the Lighthouse building.
Needed equipment
- One V3 Flash drive, found during a raid while the quest is active.
- One Digital secure DSP radio transmitter. The quest lists one as initial equipment.
- Intelligence Center level 2 in your hideout and electricity maintained throughout the reflash process.
How to complete the quest
Find the V3 Flash drive on Lighthouse
Check the black, southern chalet and the nearby tennis court for the drive. Its possible spawn points are plugged into laptops at these spots:
- On the first floor, on the dining table. There are two possible spawns here.
- In the basement, on a table.
- At the tennis court, on a table inside the tent.
Pick up the drive only after accepting the quest. It goes into your quest item inventory, but failing to extract means losing it. Extract successfully before moving on to the hideout step.
Reflash the transmitter in your hideout
At Intelligence Center level 2, reflash the Digital secure DSP radio transmitter using the V3 Flash drive. Keep electricity on for the entire process. If power is interrupted, the reflash stops.
Hand over the drive and visit the Lighthouse building
After the reflash, hand over the V3 Flash drive, then use the functional transmitter to cross the bridge to the Lighthouse peninsula and visit the Lighthouse building. The transmitter enables passage past the bridge’s claymores and Zryachiy.
In a lobby-made group, every member must have an encoded transmitter. If anyone in the group does not, the transmitter is marked blocked and the group cannot cross the bridge.
