BTR Driver
Escape From Tarkov “A Bitter Victory” Quest Guide
Collect 12 hand-in items for the BTR Driver, then talk to him and survive an extraction.
Gather every required item for A Bitter Victory before handing over any of them. Once you have the full supply set in your inventory, complete the hand-ins, conversation and extraction objectives.
Requirements and objectives
The BTR Driver gives the quest on Woods and Streets of Tarkov. It appears after Saving Private Roman in the quest chain.
| Objective | Required amount |
|---|---|
| Bottle of Fierce Hatchling moonshine | 2 |
| Rye croutons, or Emelya rye croutons as the listed alternative | 4 |
| Bottle of Tarkovskaya vodka | 4 |
| Salty Dog beef sausage | 2 |
| Talk to the BTR Driver | Once |
| Survive and extract from the location | Once |
The optional Obtain objectives track the same supplies, but they do not replace the required hand-ins.
Needed items
All four item types are hand-over items and do not need to be found in raid. The listed Hideout crafts are alternatives for acquiring some of them.
| Item | Amount | Listed Hideout craft |
|---|---|---|
| Bottle of Fierce Hatchling moonshine | 2 | Booze generator level 1 |
| Rye croutons or Emelya rye croutons | 4 | Not listed |
| Bottle of Tarkovskaya vodka | 4 | Nutrition Unit level 3 |
| Salty Dog beef sausage | 2 | Nutrition Unit level 1 |
How to complete A Bitter Victory
- Collect all 12 required items and keep them in your inventory together. Do not start handing them over until the full set is there.
- Hand over the required quantities to the BTR Driver. If you are using items obtained before accepting the quest, move them to a different inventory slot first so the game registers them.
- Talk to the BTR Driver after the hand-ins.
- Survive and extract from the location to complete the remaining objective.
Rewards
Completing A Bitter Victory rewards 30,000 EXP.
