Escape From Tarkov “Setting Priorities” Quest Guide

Two separate PMC kill objectives require opposite gear setups, and only a limited set of headsets currently counts.

Setting Priorities requires 20 PMC kills across two different gear setups. Although the first objective calls for an active headset, only a specific set of headsets currently works for quest progress.

Requirements and objectives

The quest is given by Mechanic at loyalty level 4. Complete both objectives:

  • Eliminate 10 PMC operatives while using an active headset and wearing no armor.
  • Eliminate 10 PMC operatives while wearing the TSh-4M-L soft tank crew helmet and no active headset.

Equipment you need

For the first objective, use one of the headsets below. These models currently count toward progress:

  • CENS ProFlex DX5 tactical earplug
  • GSSh-01 active headset
  • MSA Sordin Supreme PRO-X/L headset
  • Ops-Core FAST RAC Headset
  • OPSMEN Earmor M32 headset
  • OPSMEN Earmor M32 headset (White)
  • Peltor ComTac II headset (OD Green)
  • Peltor ComTac IV Hybrid headset (Coyote Brown)
  • Peltor ComTac V headset (OD Green)
  • Peltor ComTac VI headset (Coyote Brown)
  • Peltor Tactical Sport headset
  • Peltor TEP-300 tactical earplug (Coyote Brown)
  • Safariland Liberator HP 2.0 Hearing Protection Headset (FDE)
  • TW EXFIL Peltor ComTac V headset (OD Green)
  • TW EXFIL Peltor ComTac VI headset (Coyote Brown)
  • Walker’s Razor Digital headset
  • Walker’s XCEL 500BT Digital headset

For the no-armor objective, remove your armor vest, armored chest rig, armored headwear and armored face cover. The second objective requires the TSh-4M-L soft tank crew helmet and no active headset.

How to complete Setting Priorities

  1. Equip a working headset and remove the listed armor pieces. Eliminate 10 PMC operatives under that setup.
  2. Equip the TSh-4M-L soft tank crew helmet and remove your headset. Eliminate 10 more PMC operatives.

Keep the two kill counts separate when changing gear. The headset and helmet are worn for their respective objectives, not handed in as found-in-raid items.
