Jaeger's task requires five hits beyond 40 meters, split between leg and head shots.
Jaeger’s The Tarkov Shooter – Part 2 is a range-and-hit-placement task. Land three leg hits and two head hits on targets more than 40 meters away. The objective lists a bolt-action rifle, so use one to avoid ambiguity.
Requirements and objectives
Jaeger gives this task after you accept The Tarkov Shooter – Part 1.
- Hit any target in the legs three times from more than 40 meters away with a bolt-action rifle.
- Hit any target in the head twice from more than 40 meters away with a bolt-action rifle.
Hits on group members do not count. You can score all three leg hits on the same target.
Equipment
Bring a bolt-action rifle to match the weapon type in the objectives. Do not rely on the MP-18 as a substitute without checking whether it counts in the current version.
How to complete the quest
- Keep every qualifying shot beyond 40 meters. A shot from exactly 40 meters does not meet the stated distance.
- Land three hits on targets’ legs and two on targets’ heads. Track the two requirements separately.
- Do not use group members as targets, since their hits are excluded.
