Jaeger
Escape From Tarkov “The Tarkov Shooter – Part 3” Quest Guide
Jaeger wants three close-range PMC eliminations with a bolt-action rifle. Keep every target inside 25 meters.
Three PMC eliminations are required, and every one must happen from less than 25 meters while using a bolt-action rifle. Factory is the suggested map for finding close-range engagements, but the distance limit is strict, a kill at exactly 25 meters does not meet the stated objective.
Requirements and objectives
- Eliminate 3 PMCs from less than 25 meters away while using a bolt-action rifle.
Equipment
- Bring a bolt-action rifle to meet the weapon requirement.
- Optional crowd-control equipment suggested for the task includes the Model 7290 Flash Bang grenade, a Zarya stun grenade, or a KS-23M with a 23x75mm Zvezda flashbang round.
How to complete the quest
- Consider running Factory, which is recommended for its opportunities to engage PMCs at close range.
- Use the bolt-action rifle to eliminate three PMCs, keeping each target closer than 25 meters when you take the shot.
- If useful, use one of the suggested flash or stun options to make PMC targets easier to engage.
Rewards
- 10,500 EXP and +0.02 Jaeger reputation.
- 70,000 Roubles. The reward increases to 73,500 Roubles with Intelligence Center level 1, or 80,500 Roubles with Intelligence Center level 2.
- 1 Mosin Rifle Tacfire Tanker Style 7.62x54R muzzle brake and 1 Mosin Rifle AIM Sports Recoil Pad.
- Unlocks purchase of both Mosin attachments from Jaeger at loyalty level 2.
- Unlocks the .366 TKM AP-M craft at Workbench level 3 and a colored target style for the Hideout shooting range.
