Escape From Tarkov “Hiking” Quest Guide

Find the ten qualifying Scavs on Woods and see what Peacekeeper pays for the job.

Hiking is a ten-kill task on Woods, but kills only count at four named areas: USEC camp, Scav camp, the sawmill, or abandoned village. You can reach the total across any combination of them.

Requirements and objectives

Peacekeeper gives the quest. Its objective is to eliminate 10 Scavs at USEC camp, Scav camp, the sawmill, or abandoned village on Woods.

Needed equipment

No specific weapon or quest item is named for the objective. Bring a loadout for fighting Scavs on Woods. The task is based on eliminations, not collecting an item.

How to complete Hiking

  1. Enter Woods.
  2. Eliminate 10 Scavs at USEC camp, Scav camp, the sawmill, or abandoned village. The objective does not set an order, so the kills can come from any combination of those areas.

Stick to the four listed areas. Scavs killed elsewhere on Woods are outside the objective as written.
