Skier
Escape From Tarkov “Connections Up North” Quest Guide
Eliminate 20 PMC operatives with a bolt-action rifle fitted with a night or thermal scope.
Connections Up North asks for 20 PMC eliminations with a bolt-action rifle carrying a night or thermal scope. The important detail is that the scope only needs to be installed. You do not have to aim through it for kills to count.
Requirements and objective
- The trader-level requirement is Skier loyalty level 4. This is not a character-level requirement.
- Eliminate 20 PMC operatives using a bolt-action rifle with a night or thermal scope installed.
Needed equipment
Bring a bolt-action rifle and fit it with either a night scope or a thermal scope. The sight must be installed on the rifle, but you do not need to aim through it for the kills to count.
A scope that supports a backup sight can let you use a compact reflex sight instead. The Armasight Vulcan MG 3.5x Bravo is given as one example of a night scope that supports this setup.
How to complete Connections Up North
- Install a night or thermal scope on a bolt-action rifle.
- Use that rifle to eliminate 20 PMC operatives. You can use another sight for aiming if your scope supports a backup sight.
