Deadman Danny Is Now Playable in Deadlock With His Chimera Mk1

His Strix Salvo missiles mark targets, while Jettison Fuel vents heat and burns nearby enemies.

Deadman Danny is now playable in Deadlock, bringing a rocket launcher, an airborne Chimera Mk1, and a sales pitch that ends in explosions. Valve’s Fairfax Industries Employee Spotlight presents him as the company’s top salesman and introduces the tools behind the act. Danny’s place in the six-hero rollout follows Solomon’s Oct. 9 debut, the previous hero release on Oct. 9.

Strix Salvo launches missiles that mark enemies for future attacks. Jettison Fuel vents heat from the Chimera System and scorches nearby foes, while Close the Deal turns a Fairfax product demonstration into an explosive attack. The Chimera Mk1 keeps Danny flying above New York as he fires on opponents below.

Danny is one of six heroes in the rollout that began Oct. 2, and only two releases remain. Players’ votes will determine which hero joins the game on Friday, Oct. 16, at 2 p.m. PDT.
