Apex Legends Fixes Exploit That Fired a Full Magazine in One Shot
A separate fix addresses rapid firing and reloading with the Sentinel and C.A.R. SMG.

Apex Legends’ anti-cheat team deployed fixes this week for two weapon exploits, including one that let players fire a full magazine in a single shot. The team confirmed the changes in its Oct. 9 Steam update.
The other exploit enabled rapid firing and reloading with the Sentinel and C.A.R. SMG beyond their intended functionality. The team described the fixes as part of its broader work to protect fair play, alongside developing new anti-cheat detections, strengthening existing systems and taking action against players who undermine the game.
A day earlier, the team shared first-week results for EA Javelin Anticheat, including 265,550 blocked cheating attempts and 12,969 banned accounts, in a separate update focused on its PC rollout. The first-week figures for Javelin covered a different part of the anti-cheat effort.
