HObbit Returns to Counter-Strike 2’s Top Tier as PARIVISION Reaches ESL Pro League Playoffs
He is learning PARIVISION's detailed system while trying to turn his experience into simpler in-game answers.
PARIVISION reached the ESL Pro League playoffs in its first event since permanently adding HObbit, with a win over Natus Vincere along the way. After several years away from Counter-Strike 2’s top tier, the veteran is back in playoff contention and adjusting to a team system he describes as unlike anything he has played in.
Speaking with HLTV after PARIVISION secured its playoff berth, HObbit said the system requires him to absorb a lot of information. He sees the challenge as part of an opportunity to compete at the highest level again. With a Spodek Arena appearance ahead, he described the feeling as “like a dream.”
HObbit is also trying to make PARIVISION’s approach easier to use. He said he is bringing ideas from his career and filtering the team’s system into simple answers his teammates can apply during a match. His experience, as he describes it, is not only about learning the playbook but also helping translate it into decisions players can use.
The game and its meta have changed since HObbit last competed at this level, but he said he is enjoying the process of adapting.
