Warzone Season 06 Will Raise Ranked Deployment Fees and Add 3 Weapon Kits
Diamond-and-higher fees are increasing, SR Challenges are disabled, and Ranked will run for three weeks before a week of Ranked Series.

Call of Duty: Warzone Season 06 will make Ranked progression tougher at Diamond and above, disable SR Challenges, and add three weapon kits, according to the Season 06 patch notes. The shorter Ranked season will have three weeks of regular play followed by one week of Ranked Series. Battle Royale and Resurgence also get a clearer cash notice when Quickdrop Kits are converted automatically.
Ranked changes target the top divisions
Deployment fees will increase in Diamond and higher divisions, reducing the maximum SR players can earn in a single match. The change is aimed at curbing SR inflation at the top of the ladder and may compress the Top 250 standings. SR thresholds for division breakpoints will stay the same.
SR Challenges will be disabled for Season 06. They were meant to help players reach their rank faster, but saving them for later could create a larger SR cushion. Removing them gives the season a clearer test of how the underlying rating system performs.
Ranked Play Resurgence will follow the same schedule as Multiplayer Ranked, with three weeks of standard Ranked matches and one week of Ranked Series. The shorter season is also intended to give the developers a quick read on how the changes affect progression and leaderboard separation.
Loadouts will open up several items that were historically restricted, including a thermal scope, a shotgun, and launchers. The existing one-shot protection used for snipers in Ranked will also apply to these newly available options. The additions are meant to give players more ways to challenge enemies in buildings and vehicles, with their use and impact monitored during the season.
Haven’s Hollow gets a supernatural makeover
Season 06 will bring eerie changes to Haven’s Hollow. The River Boat is entangled, the Lumbermill is burning, and a gravity vortex has appeared at the Mansion. Cosmic tentacles fill the skyline, with signs of occult activity spread through the darkened town.
The weapon balance pass is intended to rein in some of the strongest assault rifles and submachine guns while giving less-used options more room. The AN-94, which had been near the top of the assault rifle group, will be brought closer to the rest of the category. Three new weapon attachments will be available through Weekly Challenge Rewards, with tradeoffs to their damage, handling, ammunition, range, or recoil.
