Forza Horizon 6’s 7-Eleven Car Meet Will Open With Horizon Meets on Oct. 8

The four-week series brings 3 new-to-Horizon cars, a 1970 Citroën 2CV Treasure Car and 200 more Horizon Play levels.

Forza Horizon 6’s 7-Eleven Car Meet will give players a new place to gather when the Horizon Meets Festival Playlist begins Oct. 8 at 2:30 p.m. UTC. The four-week series adds a themed location, three cars making their Horizon debut and 200 more Horizon Play levels, according to the Horizon Meets announcement on Steam.

The Series update was scheduled to become available on Steam Oct. 5 at 5:00 p.m. UTC. The Festival Playlist runs through Nov. 5.

A 7-Eleven Car Meet in Nangan

The temporary Car Meet will appear in the Nangan region near Nangan Day Trip, at a convenience store location overlooking Mt. Fuji. Players can also use the full store as a prop in EventLab creations after the limited-time meet is gone. The accompanying 7-Eleven prop pack adds items for EventLab, Garages and Estates, including store signs, tents, a vending machine, crate-storage options and barriers.

Players can unlock a Clerk Uniform by taking a snapshot of the meet during the first week. The location will also offer discounted Aftermarket Cars, including the returning 2008 Mazda Furai and 1989 Toyota MR2 SC, plus the Wheelspin-exclusive 1998 Mercedes-Benz AMG CLK GTR. A collectible Egg Salad Sandwich and two badges round out the tie-in. The Welcome! Badge comes from playing during the series, while Please Visit Again! requires parking a 2000 Honda Prelude Type SH at the meet.

Five cars headline the Festival Playlist

The 2025 BMW M4 CS is the 80-point reward for the full series. Each weekly season also has a 20-point car: the 2000 Honda Prelude Type SH from Oct. 8 to 15, the 2018 DeBerti Ford Mustang GT from Oct. 15 to 22, the 2004 Saleen S7 from Oct. 22 to 29, and the 1968 Holden Monaro GTS 327 from Oct. 29 to Nov. 5. The Prelude, Monaro and BMW are the three new-to-Horizon vehicles.

Playlist completionists can also work toward the 1973 Lamborghini Espada 400 GT, a Series History Reward at 1,100 points. Two new Car Horns, Konbini and Noodle Slurp, join the rewards. Elsewhere in Japan, an in-game photo clue leads to the 1970 Citroën 2CV Treasure Car.

Car Pass owners will receive four more cars on Thursdays: the 1972 Datsun 240Z #5 Rallye on Oct. 8, the 2024 Ferrari Purosangue on Oct. 15, the 1990 Eunos Cosmo on Oct. 22, and the 2024 Mercedes-AMG GT 63 4Matic+ on Oct. 29.

Horizon Play adds 200 levels

The update adds 200 Horizon Play levels and 20 badges, with one badge for every 10 levels. Players who passed level 100 before the update will have their excess XP count toward the new ranks, with progress reflected the next time they log in.

Spec Racing also adds 10 cars: the 2019 Ginetta G40 Junior, 2020 Lamborghini Essenza SCV12, 1990 Alfa Romeo SE 048SP, 1992 Mazda RX-7 Type R, 2008 Mazda Furai, 2023 Audi R8 Coupé V10 GT RWD, 1987 Ferrari F40, 2017 Saleen S7 LM, 1967 Ferrari #24 Ferrari Spa 330 P4 and 1990 Nissan #12 Skyline GT-R (BNR32 Gr.A) JTC. The Alfa Romeo, Audi and Nissan are paid DLC cars, but all players can race them in this playlist without owning their packs. The Edamame Circuit is also being added to Horizon Drift in all PI classes, Spec Racing in B and C classes, and Horizon Racing in B class.

The announced update changes include a fix for Drift Attack scores that could keep accumulating through fast travel or rewinds, added Drive Mode animation audio for four cars, a correction for the Temple of Nachi Falls photo challenge, and a fix for missing tire-scrub audio when turning stationary wheels. New engine swaps for several existing cars are also included. The full Horizon Meets release notes on Forza Support cover the other changes.
