Marvel Rivals’ Oct. 1 Patch Was Scheduled to Add New Skins and Playoff Predictions
Luna Snow and Phoenix cosmetics are scheduled to enter the store on October 2, while four regional playoff prediction deadlines run through October 16.
Marvel Rivals Version 20261001 was listed for October 1 at 09:00 UTC, with no server downtime planned, according to the Steam patch notes. The announced changes include new Luna Snow and Phoenix cosmetics, Ignite Series Stage 2 Playoffs predictions, and three fixes.
The two featured costumes, Luna Snow’s Lunar Luna and Phoenix’s Cosmic Spark, are scheduled to become available in the store on October 2 at 02:00 UTC. Both are also part of Pop & Win, which runs through October 16 at 02:00 UTC. The notes do not give a separate end date for the costume availability beyond October 30 at 02:00 UTC.
Playoff predictions are scheduled to open on October 5. The four regional deadlines fall on different dates: the Pacific Series closes October 8 at 05:50 UTC, EMEA closes October 15 at 10:50 UTC, the Americas closes October 15 at 19:50 UTC, and China closes October 16 at 06:50 UTC. Players can complete event quests by submitting predictions and watching matches through the in-game broadcast, earning rewards such as Nameplates, Titles, and Units.
The fixes address a typo in the description for Rogue’s stolen Adam Warlock ability, an issue that forced Jeff’s Superstar Search matchmaking into Quick Match, and Chroma descriptions that stayed onscreen after players deselected them in the Customize menu.

- Pajama Party Preferences: Fixed an issue in the Jeff’s Superstar Search event where clicking the “GO” button to matchmaking forced the lobby to switch to Quick Match. Everyone can now battle for those stars in any mode they see fit.
- Chroma Custodian Clean-up: Fixed a UI glitch in the Customize menu where the description text for a Chroma would get stuck on the screen after unselecting it. The costume interface is now sparkling clean.
