World of Tanks’ October Boost Pairs Halloween Rewards With Higher Prices

The promotion includes an ASTRON Rex 105 mm rental, Halloween-themed customization, and a final chance to choose from the current six-month vehicle lineup.

World of Tanks’ October Boost brings a ghostly 2D style and decal to the monthly Boosteroid offer, alongside an ASTRON Rex 105 mm rental and missions for in-game rewards. An active Boosteroid subscription is required to access the rental and claim the Monthly Boost rewards.

The October Boost offer runs from Oct. 1 through Oct. 31. Starting Oct. 1, the one-month plan costs €19.89 and the six-month plan costs €99.89. Those prices are up from September’s €16.89 monthly and €89.89 six-month rates. The higher prices apply to people without an active subscription when the change takes effect. Current subscribers keep their existing price until they cancel and later resubscribe.

Both plans include the ASTRON Rex 105 mm while the subscription remains active, October’s rewards, and bonuses for first-time subscribers. The six-month plan also provides access to its tank lineup. The rental tank has a five-shell autoloader, but it is not a permanent Garage addition through the standard monthly rewards.

Halloween items and mission rewards

The October customization rewards are the “Bump in the Night” 2D style and “Green Ghost” decal. Players also receive an Accuracy Improvement System T1 and 100 Experimental Equipment components. The monthly reward package includes 1,000 gold as well as special missions.

The main mission asks players to win a battle and finish among the top 10 on their team by XP earned. It is limited to Random Battles in Tier IV-XI vehicles and can be completed up to 10 times per day. Each completion awards 2 Crew XP and 1 mission token, with the Crew XP applied after the first victory of the day.

10 tokens: 5 Automatic Fire Extinguishers.
20 tokens: 5 Large First Aid Kits.
30 tokens: 5 Large Repair Kits.
60 tokens: 5 each of those three consumables, 5 reserves granting +300% to Free and Crew XP for 1 hour, 5 reserves granting +100% to Combat XP for 1 hour, and 10 missions for ×5 XP.

Six-month subscribers have until the November Boost changes the vehicle lineup to choose from the current selection. They can permanently add one of its 3 vehicles to their Garage, or claim 6,000 gold if they already own the full lineup. To receive the gold and missions, subscribers need to link their Boosteroid and World of Tanks accounts and log in within 3 months of the October Monthly Boost release date.

First-time Boosteroid subscribers also receive commander Jack “Lumberjack” Thompson with Crew XP for an additional 100% perk, 3 “Timber Titans” decals, 3 “Rage Cutter” decals, and an extra week of the Boosteroid and World of Tanks subscription. Rewards arrive when the subscription begins and again on renewal, even if a new Monthly Boost starts on the first day of a month.
