EA SPORTS FC 27 Career Mode Update Targets UI, Transfer Offers, and Liga BBVA MX
EA is also monitoring Stamina and Dynamic OVR while a Career Mode Q&A is scheduled for October 6.
Career Mode’s next round of tuning in EA SPORTS FC 27 will focus on the systems that can quietly derail a long save, from squad screens and generated-player ratings to transfer activity and Liga BBVA MX’s season progression. EA laid out those plans in its first Career Mode Developer Update, while saying Stamina and Dynamic OVR will remain under review rather than receive immediate major changes.
Planned Career Mode changes
Several of the team’s current priorities respond to player reports about how saves are developing over time:
- Team Management UI: EA is planning visual updates to the Team Management Screen based on player feedback.
- Newly generated players: The team identified an issue causing some new players to enter Career Mode with higher Starting OVRs than expected. A fix is in development to bring their ratings closer to the intended balance.
- Transfer requests and playtime: EA is reviewing how quickly players request transfers when they are not receiving enough minutes. The goal is to better balance playing-time demands with squad rotation and energy recovery.
- Loan and transfer offers: Balancing changes are in progress to give loan-listed and transfer-listed players more opportunities to receive offers.
- Liga BBVA MX: EA is working on progression problems affecting the league, including the Clausura portion of the season, to better match its competition structure.
EA previously detailed the rebuilt Transfer Market and Dynamic OVRs as major Career Mode additions. The developer now wants more time with longer saves before making broad adjustments to Stamina or Dynamic OVR, since player reactions to the rotation and rating systems have been mixed.
A Career Mode Q&A is scheduled for October 6 in the Official EA SPORTS FC Discord. Players can also continue sending feedback through the Player Feedback Portal as the team tracks how these systems perform across the new game’s early Career Mode saves.
