EA SPORTS FC™ 27 Ratings Reveals Will Begin on August 15
The rollout will lead into a community-voted Destined for Glory squad and a September database update after the transfer window closes.

EA SPORTS FC™ 27 ratings reveals will begin on August 15, 2026, with new information arriving daily throughout the week. EA says the rollout will include the 27 highest-rated men’s and women’s players, Club Star Ratings, stars from the biggest leagues in world football, and more.
The ratings campaign, titled The World’s Debate, will connect player ratings more closely with real-world performances. Once the daily reveals are finished, players will be able to check the full Ratings Database for the stats attached to every base Player Item in FC 27.
That database will receive another update in September. EA plans to publish the final ratings after the international transfer window closes and squads for the new season are confirmed. PlayStyles will be added alongside that later update.
Destined for Glory voting begins August 21
FC 27’s first Football Ultimate Team campaign of the season will be Destined for Glory, and the community will help decide which players receive the spotlight. Voting will open on August 21, 2026, through the Ratings Database.
Players can choose anyone in the database who they believe will define the season, whether that means breaking out, making an instant impact at a new club, leading a team, or becoming one of the campaign’s biggest stars. To cast a vote, find a player and select the Vote button beside their name.
- Voting will be open from August 21 through September 10, 2026.
- Every player in the Ratings Database will be eligible for votes.
- There will be no limit on how many players each person can choose.
- Community voting will help shape the final Destined for Glory Squad.
The Destined for Glory campaign will run from September 25 through October 9, 2026. Its featured Player Items will receive live upgrades based on real-world performances, giving the ratings debate a direct connection to the season as it unfolds.
FC 27 will change base Item rarity
As the new ratings appear, base Football Ultimate Team Items will use simpler rarity labels. Bronze, Silver, and Gold Items will no longer be divided into Common and Rare versions. EA previously detailed the change in its FC 27 FUT Deep Dive notes.
The first reveals are scheduled to begin tomorrow, with the community vote following six days later. Tell us which players you expect to define the new season in the comments, and follow us on X, Bluesky, YouTube, Instagram, Steam, and Telegram.
