Escape from Tarkov’s Kord Breach Event Pays Up to 10x XP for PvP Actions
PMC eliminations now award 600 XP, and the temporary rates will remain active through October 5 at 5:00 a.m. EDT.
Escape from Tarkov has started a limited-time XP event in its Kord Breach seasonal mode, giving players much larger rewards for eliminating PMCs and Scavs. Picking up PMC dogtags also pays more, with the biggest increase reaching 10 times the usual amount.
The event will remain active until October 5 at 10:00 AM BST, or 5:00 AM EDT. During that window, PMC eliminations will award 600 XP instead of 120, while eliminating a Scav, including a player Scav, will grant 110 XP instead of 55.
Where the Kord Breach XP bonuses apply
- Eliminating a PMC awards 600 XP, up from 120 XP.
- Eliminating a Scav or player Scav awards 110 XP, up from 55 XP.
- Picking up a PMC dogtag awards 200 XP, up from 20 XP.
The bonuses cover both kills and a related action, making dogtags particularly useful during raids. The larger rewards also give seasonal characters a reason to seek fights instead of treating every encounter as an avoidable risk.
Kord Breach introduced Escape from Tarkov’s season-based structure with a battle pass and seasonal progression. Daily operational tasks will also continue rewarding Battle Pass documents, a system one player recently used to pace the seasonal track after missing two weeks.
Battlestate Games’ latest event follows a short Lighthouse-focused event. That run combined the map’s overhaul, new quests, points of interest, and enemy relocations with a powerful boss and more frequent airdrops. The current XP bonuses now put the emphasis back on player combat and raid encounters across the seasonal mode.
